Requirements and first steps

No. Customers use the workbooks in the supported Excel desktop app. The three connected intelligence tools require internet access and a purchase license for refresh. You do not need your own BLS or other federal API keys.

If prompted for this trusted download, choose Enable Editing and then Enable Content. These can appear as separate prompts. Open Setup, enter your license, select your inputs and choose Data → Refresh All. Wait for completion, then review the result and source periods. Salary and Campus include Refresh Details to explain failed keys or requests.

Data updates follow each source's release schedule. Refresh All retrieves the latest validated release available through Hire Logix; it does not create new source data, and the results may be unchanged since your last refresh. A source release must be imported and validated before it becomes available here. Check the source periods in your workbook, not just the time of your refresh.

• Market Difficulty: BLS OEWS wage and employment estimates update annually; JOLTS hiring-demand data updates monthly. O*NET reference attributes are static in this version.
• Salary Intelligence: OEWS wages update annually. Department of Labor LCA disclosure data is released quarterly, but Hire Logix serves a separately imported snapshot; a new government release is not automatically available in the workbook.
• Campus Intelligence: IPEDS data is collected annually, and College Scorecard measures have their own release dates and reporting periods. Hire Logix serves separately prepared snapshots, so refreshing does not automatically import a new annual dataset. Its OEWS wage context follows the annual OEWS schedule.
• Recruiting Dashboard: This offline workbook uses your entries and has no hosted data feed.

Publication schedules describe the source data, not a guarantee of immediate availability or how long a purchase includes hosted access.

Check that the key belongs to the product, review Setup and Refresh Details, and refresh again after correcting your inputs. A blank result may indicate unavailable data or a failed request; do not treat it as a zero.

The website shows example selections from the workbooks. Market Difficulty and Salary include labeled sample results and blank license fields. Campus begins with cleared results and a blank license field. Recruiting Dashboard supplies a separate fictional example and blank starter.

Yes. It works from your entries and does not require a license key, internet connection or external data refresh.

It records requisition-level cumulative candidate totals and interview events. It does not provide a full applicant record or automatic stage history. Source scorecards group requisitions by their primary source.
